As the charter public school debate heats up in Massachusetts, it's important to remember that our urban charter schools offer the best option for closing achievement gaps. Guests of the Pioneer Institute will hear from a national charter school leader, a noted researcher, as well as charter opponents and advocates about the controversies and lessons for urban schools.
Pioneer Institute is an independent, non-partisan, privately funded research organization that seeks to improve the quality of life in Massachusetts through civic discourse and intellectually rigorous, data-driven public policy solutions based on free market principles, individual liberty and responsibility, and the ideal of effective, limited and accountable government.
